What are the benefits fo the Essentials Scheme?

Our new Essentials Dental Scheme is designed to offer transparent fixed price dentistry on a treatment by treatment basis at similar pricing to NHS prices. Finance is now available on treatments over £250, subject to application and acceptance. Treatment times for Essentials treatment are expected to be quicker due to the greater availability of appointments. 'Essentials' patients can also access exclusive early mornign and evening appointments.

What is the application process to join the new Essentials Scheme?

Will my next check-up be as an Essentials patient?

Yes, your next check-up appointment will be as an Essentials Patient. You can also choose to upgrade to our monthly Patient Dental Care Plans by paying £16.19 per month to give you access to priority appointments, a dedicated private only booking telephone line, two 6-monthly check up appointments, two 6-monthly hygienist clean appointments and worldwide dental trauma insurance. We have other monthly Plan options available depending on your dental needs – with 1 annual check up and 1 annual hygiene appointment for only £8.91 per month. Please contact the practice for further information.

Can I have NHS dentistry at the practice instead?

Our current NHS dentist is unavailable to see NHS patients due to the high placement area already being exhausted due to high demand. As soon as we have some space available, we prioritise our existing patients to accommodate to see as NHS patients.We have tried to reduce our Essentials prices to be competitive with NHS pricing. For example, an Essentials check-up is only £25 instead of an NHS check-up of £25.80.

Can I access Private treatment choices as an Essential Patient?

Yes, you will be able to access all private treatment such as tooth coloured (white) mercury free fillings, teeth whitening treatments along with all other available private and cosmetic treatments, at the standard Private Price List.You are welcome to upgrade to the practice’s own Patient Dental Care Membership Plan and take advantage of more convenient appointment times, better quality materials and laboratory services e.g. all ceramic crowns etc which are not available on the NHS or Essentials scheme with 10% discount on most dental treatments as well as World Wide Dental Trauma insurance and a dedicated booking line for only £16.19/month.Please ring the practice telephone and press option 1 to speak to our dedicated Private Patient Support Team
