Important Information for LA Southworth Patients

Dear valued LA Southworth patients,


As 2022 ends, we, as a practice, want to apologise for the inconveniences caused throughout the year. Unfortunately, we need more NHS dentists throughout the year 2022. This significantly impacted appointment availability, meaning patients were waiting longer to be seen by an NHS dentist. We have been in the difficult position of using a locum dentist to ensure our patients were not left without an NHS dentist.
However, we understand the frustration this has caused patients.


We, as a practice, have worked around the clock, so you can see a positive change moving forward in 2023. In the New year, we will have four NHS dentists working at the clinic, which will considerably impact patients having access to emergency and routine appointments.


We strive to ensure our practice is running at total capacity and have also renovated all upstairs surgeries as heavily requested by many patients, with plans to renovate the downstairs in the New year.
We hope the changes in the New year will ensure all patients have a positive experience when attending the practice.
