Owner & Managing Director

As the Owner and Managing Director of Smart Dental Care, Suken has led the growth of the organisation from its roots as a single family-run practice in Blackburn to a respected network of dental clinics across the UK and Northern Ireland.

With a strong belief in accessible and inclusive healthcare, Suken has built Smart Dental Care on the core values of affordability, quality, and compassion — ensuring every patient receives care that’s not only clinically excellent, but delivered with dignity and understanding.

Under Suken’s leadership, Smart Dental Care has become a place where diversity is celebrated, and teams are empowered to reflect and represent the communities they serve.

This guiding principle shapes every aspect of the organisation — from policy to practice — and is what continues to drive Smart Dental Care forward today. In his personal time, Suken enjoys keeping fit and boxing.

Subahu Shah

Board member

Subahu Shah is a healthcare professional who currently has responsibility for Human Resources, recruitment and helps with Marketing.

He has extensive experience in dental practice management, operations, dental prisons management and has an understanding of Information Technology.

Throughout his career, he has helped to improve efficiency, patient experience, and overall performance across a few dental practices in the UK and is now heavily devoting his time to Marketing in particular.

Subahu serves as a board member of the Smart Dental Care group, combining strategic oversight with an in-depth understanding of day-to-day practice operations. His work reflects a commitment to quality, accountability, and continual improvement and self-development.

Outside of work, Subahu is an avid fitness fanatic and goes to the gym six days a week and is actively pursuing his dream of obtaining a second Black Belt in Martial Arts. Subahu also likes to bio-hack, read, travel, spend time with his family and is a fanatical fan of Manchester City.

Marketa Cardon

Digital Marketing Director

Digital Marketing Director – Marketa Cardon is an accomplished and hands-on Digital Marketing Director with extensive experience across all areas of marketing, including branding, social media, email marketing, and customer journeys using AI. With a proven track record of driving growth and elevating brand visibility, she brings both strategic insight and practical expertise to every project.

At Smart Dental Care, Marketa leads the development of the company’s marketing strategy and future direction, ensuring that every campaign reflects the organisation’s values and commitment to putting patients at the heart of everything it does. Her work focuses on creating clear, consistent communication that builds trust, strengthens patient relationships, and enhances the overall brand experience.

In addition to her strategic leadership, Marketa provides training and mentoring to practice managers across the group, helping them build confidence and the practical skills needed to market their own practices effectively.

Outside of work, Marketa is studying towards her Level 4 Counselling qualification and enjoys spending her free time with her children.

Rosanna Roddy

Operational Manager

With over 17 years of experience in the dental industry, my career began in Dental Nursing and evolved as I qualified as a Dental Technician in 2011. Since then, I have had the privilege of working alongside both independent and corporate dental groups, successfully supporting them in achieving business growth and long-term sustainability.
In 2016, I transitioned into management, where my career advanced from Practice Management to multisite management and ultimately Operations. My in-depth knowledge of the dental sector enables me to drive business performance across multiple disciplines, fostering collaboration and excellence. I am passionate about inspiring and empowering teams to reach their full potential while ensuring the delivery of outstanding patient and business outcomes.
